In the Barcelona Open quarterfinals on clay, 19-year-old Spaniard Rafael Jodar (#55) faces a rematch against Cameron Norrie (#24, 7th seed), who leads trader consensus despite Jodar stunning him 6-3, 6-2 in their only prior meeting at Acapulco earlier this year. Norrie advanced with gritty three-set wins over Stan Wawrinka (6-4, 6-7, 6-4) and qualifier Ethan Quinn (6-3, 4-6, 6-4), showcasing resilience but exposing potential fatigue on his 3-1 clay record this season. Jodar, riding momentum with straight-set victories in Barcelona including over Camilo Ugo Carabelli and no sets dropped yet, benefits from home-crowd energy and recent career-high ranking. Norrie's left-handed baseline game edges stylistic matchup on Rafael Nadal's former courts, though Jodar's youth and surface comfort introduce upset potential absent late withdrawals or injuries.
