Trader consensus prices Iga Świątek as a narrow 28% implied favorite for the 2026 Roland Garros women's singles title ahead of Aryna Sabalenka at 23.5%, reflecting a closely contested clay-court swing kickoff amid mixed early-season form. Sabalenka's unspecified injury—forcing her Stuttgart withdrawal after a dominant 26-1 hard-court record and Sunshine Double pursuit—has cooled her momentum despite stylistic improvements on clay, while Świątek's historical Paris supremacy (multiple titles) offsets her recent struggles, including a Miami Open R32 exit to Linette on April 14 and coach split with Wim Fissette. Defending champion Coco Gauff (8.5%) faces heavy points pressure, and Elena Rybakina (7.8%) builds on strong 21-5 form entering the Stuttgart draw loaded with top seeds. Madrid and Rome loom as pivotal tests.
