Andrey Rublev enters as the trader-favored pick against Lorenzo Sonego in the Barcelona Open round of 16 on clay, driven by his No. 5 seeding, 4-2 head-to-head advantage—including recent wins in Vienna, Rome, and Metz—and straight-sets first-round triumph 6-4, 7-5 over Mariano Navone on Tuesday. Sonego scraped through 6-2, 6-7(5), 6-4 versus Spaniard Pedro Martinez in a gritty opener, showcasing baseline resilience but exposing serve vulnerabilities that Rublev's power exploits. No injury concerns for either, though Sonego's 2023 Roland Garros upset offers upset intrigue; current form and surface history tilt consensus toward the Russian in this ATP 500 matchup.
