In the Santa Cruz de la Sierra Challenger round of 16 on outdoor clay, No. 3 seed Gonzalo Bueno (ATP 187) holds momentum against wild card Federico Coria (ATP 826), who is rusting after an eight-month injury layoff including surgery. Coria labored through a three-set first-round win over low-ranked Lorenzo Joaquin Rodriguez (6-1, 4-6, 6-3), conceding multiple service breaks and revealing fitness gaps on the high-altitude Bolivian courts. Bueno, a physical baseline grinder thriving in Latin American Challengers, advanced past Gonzalo Villanueva in three sets following a recent final in Brazil. No head-to-head exists; Coria's past clay expertise clashes with Bueno's superior current form and stamina edge.
