Arsenal lead the Premier League table with 70 points from 32 matches (+38 GD), but their shock 2-1 home defeat to Bournemouth last weekend handed Manchester City—trailing on 64 points from 31 games (+35 GD)—a lifeline in the title race, boosting City to 56.5% implied probability for second place per trader consensus. City's emphatic 3-0 away win over Chelsea on April 12, combined with a game in hand, underscores their momentum and storied April form (21-2-1 record over last six seasons), while Arsenal juggle Champions League semi-final demands. The pivotal Etihad head-to-head on April 19 could swing the standings decisively, with Manchester United (third) and others trailing far behind on points and goal difference.
