Mercedes leads the 2026 F1 Constructors' Championship by a wide margin in early-season points, reflecting its superior adaptation to the new regulations and power unit performance. The Silver Arrows' car has delivered consistent front-running pace from preseason testing through the opening races, outpacing rivals in qualifying and race trim while customer teams benefit from the engine advantage. Trader consensus at 86.5% implied probability captures this dominance, with Ferrari, McLaren, and Red Bull Racing trailing significantly. Potential shifts could arise from late-season reliability concerns, rival upgrade packages closing the gap, or unexpected driver errors, though current form suggests substantial barriers remain for challengers.
