Milwaukee Brewers head to Comerica Park for a three-game interleague series against the Detroit Tigers starting April 21, amid key injuries impacting both rosters. The Brewers, sitting at 10-8 in third place in the NL Central, recently snapped a six-game skid with a comeback win over the Blue Jays but placed Christian Yelich on the 10-day IL with a groin strain (out at least a month), Jackson Chourio (hand fracture) and Andrew Vaughn (hamate) sidelined weeks, plus pitching concerns for Kyle Harrison and Brandon Sproat undergoing knee exams. Detroit (10-9), riding a five-game win streak fueled by Tarik Skubal's near-no-hitter, hosts with home-field edge but misses Parker Meadows (arm fracture surgery, months out) and Justin Verlander (hip, nearing rehab return); probable starters for opener remain TBD. Early-season form and bullpen depth will be pivotal in this evenly matched matchup.
