Trader consensus implies a 66% probability that bantamweight champion Petr Yan defends his title against Merab Dvalishvili in a trilogy bout, driven by both fighters' recent public pushes for a third matchup at International Fight Week in July—Dvalishvili confirmed readiness in late March 2026 interviews following Yan's unanimous decision reclaim of the belt via their UFC 323 rematch in December 2025. Umar Nurmagomedov (12.6%) and former champion Sean O’Malley (11.5%) trail as elite contenders per updated rankings, buoyed by their win streaks and stylistic intrigue, though no official UFC announcement has materialized amid Yan's first title reign post-victory. Lower options reflect lesser ranking proximity or stylistic mismatches.
