Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner's straight-sets victories in their Monte Carlo openers have locked trader consensus into a nail-biter, with the defending champion and world No. 1 holding a slim 51% implied probability over Sinner's 46% amid their duel for top ranking supremacy. Alcaraz draws on his 2025 title run here and clay-court pedigree from multiple Grand Slams, while Sinner—surprising peers by entering post-Sunshine Double—unleashes enhanced baseline grinding and serve accuracy tailored to the slow red clay. Favorable draws sidestep early clashes, but Zverev's recent win and Berrettini's 6-0, 6-0 thrashing of Medvedev inject upset risk, keeping the field competitive through round of 32.
