Tomas Martinez, the 22-year-old Argentine ranked near 927, meets 34-year-old Brazilian Wilson Leite, ranked 823, in the second round of the ITF M15 Maringa on outdoor clay. This first-time meeting features two players with nearly identical recent win rates around 50 percent, though Martinez has faced slightly stronger opposition on average. Leite brings local experience and a longer professional resume on the surface, while Martinez relies on recent momentum from qualifying and early-round wins. Clay-court movement, break-point conversion efficiency, and stamina over best-of-three sets will shape the outcome in this evenly matched lower-tier event.
