John Hallquist Lithén held a clear edge entering the ITF M15 Doboj first-round clash on clay, backed by a higher ranking near the top 800 and stronger recent results on the surface. The 24-year-old Swede, coming off a solid college season at Ole Miss with proven doubles experience, faced 21-year-old Italian Gilberto Ravasio, whose ATP ranking sat around 1262 and who had mixed outcomes in prior M15 events. Key variables included Lithén’s superior win rate in recent ITF outings, both players’ limited main-tour experience, and the clay-court conditions that reward consistent baseline play and movement. No major injuries were reported, keeping focus on form and head-to-head history in low-level professional events.
