The closely bunched probabilities around 34-37.5% for Rodrigo De Paul and a cluster of creators like Frantzdy Pierrot, Antonee Robinson, Riyad Mahrez, Mohamed Salah, and others capture the open pre-tournament dynamics for most assists at the 2026 World Cup. No single player holds a decisive edge because outcomes hinge on which teams advance deep, how many matches their playmakers feature in, and stylistic fit in high-possession attacks. De Paul’s marginal lead aligns with Argentina’s proven midfield structure and his recent club contributions, yet comparable chances for wingers and central creators from qualified sides underscore the category’s inherent unpredictability before group-stage lineups and results clarify paths to extra games and set-piece involvement.
