Yuto Oki, the 20-year-old Japanese player ranked near 1025, faces 27-year-old compatriot Shinji Hazawa (around No. 709) on outdoor hard courts in the ITF M15 Tokyo 2. Hazawa brings greater experience and a stronger recent record, including straight-set wins over Yuta Kikuchi and Hikaru Shiraishi in the same event. Oki has shown promise with dominant qualifying victories but remains lower-ranked with fewer ITF-level results. Both players are Japanese and familiar with the surface and conditions, yet Hazawa’s ranking edge and consistent form position him as the market favorite ahead of this round-of-32 clash.
