This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Comeback Player of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Zack Wheeler holds the dominant 74.5% implied probability in the NL Comeback Player of the Year market after returning from thoracic outlet syndrome surgery that ended his 2025 season. The Phillies right-hander has delivered ace-level results in 2026, posting a 12-5 record with a 3.14 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 172 strikeouts over 143.1 innings through early September, including multiple sharp outings with velocity restored near 95 mph and nine-strikeout efforts. Traders view his injury severity and production rebound as unmatched among candidates. Sandy Alcantara at 7.5% trails on the strength of his own recovery metrics, while Michael Harris II, Tanner Scott, and O'Neil Cruz sit in single digits amid thinner narratives and less dramatic statistical turnarounds. Recent form and health milestones continue to anchor the pricing.
