Adam Hunt and Steve Beaton face off in the MODUS Super Series group stage at even implied probability, reflecting a tightly balanced matchup shaped by recent head-to-head results and contrasting profiles. The 62-year-old Beaton, drawing on decades of experience and a strong run to a recent final, has edged Hunt in close encounters this week, including 4-3 and 4-2 victories that underscore his checkout consistency and ability to stay sharp through the weekly Portsmouth format. Hunt, a 33-year-old Pro Tour regular with steady scoring and a 51% win rate over recent matches, counters with younger legs and competitive form in the same sessions. Factors that could shift sentiment include any edge in finishing under pressure, fatigue for the veteran, or momentum from intervening group games against Evetts, Osborne, or Hogan.
