Joe Pyfer’s elevated standing after his March 2026 TKO of Israel Adesanya, combined with the August cancellation of his planned UFC 330 bout against Caio Borralho due to injury, has left his next Octagon matchup undecided and fueled a tight trader consensus. Middleweight contenders Dricus Du Plessis, Brendan Allen, and Nassourdine Imavov sit within a narrow implied-probability band because each brings credible stylistic and ranking-based arguments—Du Plessis and Allen as established top-tier names seeking activity, Imavov as a surging striker—while recent division movement and Pyfer’s momentum keep several paths open. Borralho remains a longer-shot possibility should he recover quickly. This clustering reflects the absence of any confirmed booking and the competitive depth at 185 pounds.
