Alexander Blockx's explosive recent form on hardcourts positions him as the clear trader favorite at 66% implied probability to advance past Christopher O'Connell in Miami Open qualifying. The 18-year-old Belgian phenom, fresh off junior Grand Slam success and early pro wins including a Challenger deep run, boasts a big serve and aggressive baseline play suited to Miami's medium-fast courts and humid conditions. O'Connell, a 30-year-old Australian ranked around No. 90, has cooled after a strong Australian Open showing, dropping straight-set losses in recent qualifiers with serve vulnerabilities exposed. No head-to-head exists, and official reports confirm no injuries for either; traders weigh Blockx's youth momentum against O'Connell's experience fade.
