Sergey Fomin enters as the slight ranking favorite at No. 336 against No. 463 Moerani Bouzige in the first round of the Wuning 1 Challenger on outdoor hardcourt, their first head-to-head encounter. Fomin's trader consensus reflects his career-high No. 323 from February and solid hardcourt record (53% wins), though recent ITF form in Asia has been mixed with three wins in his last five, including defeats in Maanshan. Bouzige counters with hot momentum on a five-match win streak across ITF hardcourt events like Kashiwa, leveraging his 55% career hardcourt success and Australian baseline grinding style. No reported injuries or withdrawals; focus shifts to serve hold percentages and endurance in potential three-setter amid China swing fatigue.
