Colson, the Belgian underdog, also survived a three-setter against Miguel Tobon in qualifiers or R1, but lacks head-to-head history or surface edge in high-altitude Mexico City, where balls travel farther, potentially amplifying Mejia's baseline power while testing Colson's consistency in this first career meeting. No reported injuries or withdrawals alter the matchup.
