Fajing Sun, ranked No. 252 and seeded fifth in the ATP Challenger Wuning on hard courts, meets No. 672 Rigele Te in the first round, a rematch where Te leads their head-to-head 4-2, including a 6-2, 6-3 semifinal win at M15 Luan in April 2025. Sun's superior ranking and recent Challenger exposure—despite a straight-sets first-round exit to Maximus Jones in Miyazaki last week—contrast Te's solid ITF results, highlighted by a semifinal run at M15 Maanshan on March 21 before losing to Karlis Ozolins. With no reported injuries or withdrawals, traders weigh Sun's baseline reliability and home-country advantage against Te's hard-court upset history in this evenly matched opener.
