Mackenzie’s recent ITF junior results and career-high ranking of 4 reflect stronger overall form and experience at this level, while Todoran advanced from his opening match against Timeo Trufelli in three sets after dropping the first. Both 18-year-olds will contest the match on outdoor clay, where Mackenzie’s serve and baseline consistency have historically translated well in junior Grand Slam events. The draw position offers the higher seed a favorable path, though Todoran’s three-set win provides some recent match fitness heading into the matchup.
