Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev meet in the Rolex Monte Carlo Masters semifinals on clay, their third ATP Masters 1000 clash this year, with Sinner leading the head-to-head 8-4 overall but splitting 1-1 on the surface—Zverev's 2022 quarterfinal win here the decider. Sinner, 22-2 in 2026 after Indian Wells and Miami titles, recovered from mid-tournament fatigue and a medical timeout versus Tomas Machac to dispatch Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-3, 6-4 in Friday's quarters. Zverev, a two-time semifinalist at this event, navigated a tougher draw, edging Joao Fonseca 7-5, 6-7(3), 6-3 despite minor prior injury concerns. Both 3-0 on clay this swing, the matchup hinges on Sinner's baseline power against Zverev's sliding prowess and crowd support.
