Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Traders assign roughly equal 50% implied probabilities to a highest temperature of 31°C, 32°C, or 33°C or higher in Karachi on May 19 because official readings from the Pakistan Meteorological Department typically cluster in this narrow band during late May, when daytime maxima are shaped by Arabian Sea moisture, light sea breezes, and urban heat-island effects around the recording station. Regional forecast models show afternoon peaks sensitive to minor changes in cloud cover and wind speed, any of which can shift the daily high by 1–2 °C and push the outcome across resolution thresholds. Historical May averages near 32 °C provide a baseline, yet the market reflects uncertainty over exact local conditions on that date rather than a clear directional signal.
