Latest ensemble forecasts from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts and GFS models indicate a high likelihood of peak temperatures near 26°C in Milan on September 13, driving the 50% market-implied probability for that outcome. A persistent high-pressure ridge over northern Italy, combined with light southerly flow and minimal cloud cover, supports gradual warming from current conditions while suppressing convective activity that could alter daily maxima. Historical September averages for the Po Valley hover around 24–25°C, providing climatological context for the slight elevation in trader consensus. Key upcoming model runs and observational updates from regional meteorological agencies will refine these projections ahead of resolution.
