This aligns precisely with pre-event consensus from Météo-France, ECMWF, and GFS models forecasting a 26°C maximum under warm air advection slightly above May climatological norms of 18–20°C, with persistent cloud cover and potential afternoon thunderstorms preventing further intensification. Trader sentiment reflects this skin-in-the-game validation of observational data over forecasts. Realistic challenges, such as sudden clearing for solar heating or unaccounted data revisions, are now moot post-finalization, though minor post-day adjustments rarely occur.
