Recent forecasts from meteorological models, including those aligned with China Meteorological Administration guidance, indicate Shanghai's maximum temperature on September 13 will most likely reach 29–30°C under partly cloudy to overcast skies with light northeast winds and a chance of brief showers. These conditions, typical for mid-September in the Yangtze River Delta, limit daytime heating compared to clearer summer patterns while keeping readings above seasonal averages near 28°C. Model consensus shows minimal day-to-day shifts over the past 48 hours, supporting trader emphasis on 29°C as the modal outcome, though any clearing trend or delayed rain could allow a brief push toward 31°C before resolution.
