Current National Weather Service and ensemble forecasts for Dallas on September 24 project a daily minimum near 74–75°F under persistent high pressure and easterly flow, well above the 1991–2020 average low of 67°F. Trader consensus splits nearly evenly between sub-65°F and 84°F+ outcomes because short-range models show modest spread in the timing and strength of any weak frontal boundary or ridge breakdown that could allow cooler northerly advection versus continued warm southerly return flow. Dew points in the low-to-mid 60s and light winds favor gradual overnight cooling to the mid-70s, but small shifts in 850-hPa temperatures or cloud cover could alter the minimum by several degrees either way. Updated NWS model runs and local observations over the next 48 hours will likely narrow the range ahead of market resolution.
