Recent forecasts from the Met Office and global models including GFS indicate a mild southwesterly flow over London on September 7, with extensive cloud cover and light winds limiting nocturnal radiative cooling and supporting minimum temperatures near 17–18°C. Overnight readings are expected to bottom out in the upper teens Celsius under mostly cloudy skies, with only isolated showers possible later in the period. This setup aligns with the market's concentration of implied probability on 18°C and 17°C outcomes, reflecting model consensus and historical September norms for the region. Updated model runs and official Met Office briefings over the next 48 hours will provide the key data points for any shifts in trader positioning.
