Both rotations are depleted—Reds without Hunter Greene (60-day IL, elbow surgery) and Nick Lodolo (15-day IL, finger), Pirates missing Jared Jones (60-day IL, elbow) and Mike Clevinger (knee)—elevating young arms like Reds' Chase Burns, fresh off strong outings, versus Pirates' Paul Skenes, who rebounded with five strong innings in Pittsburgh's 8-3 April 1 series-clinching win. Recent divisional form underscores a tight trader consensus, with head-to-head history and bullpen depth as key differentiators.
