This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/MSFT/history, published under "Historical Prices." In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance.Microsoft's share price closed at $370.87 on April 10, 2026—down 0.59% from the prior session and roughly 33% below its 52-week high of $555.45—amid a broader tech sell-off fueled by Middle East geopolitical tensions and surging energy costs impacting AI data center expenses. Last week's action stabilized around $373 before the dip, with aggressive spending on AI models, chips, and infrastructure bolstering enterprise growth prospects despite margin pressures. Analysts hold a strong buy consensus, with an average one-year price target of $587 implying over 58% upside potential. No company-specific catalysts loom during the April 13-17 week, leaving direction tied to macroeconomic releases, Nasdaq momentum, and sector rotation ahead of Q3 earnings on April 29.
