In the Pará Senate race for the second seat in Brazil’s 2026 elections, trader odds reflect a highly fragmented field where no single contender has established a durable lead. Recent polls, including Real Time Big Data and Genial/Quaest surveys from late July and early August, show ex-governor Helder Barbalho (MDB) commanding first place with 21–40 percent support, while second-place intentions remain split among Delegado Éder Mauro (PL), Celso Sabino (PDT), Zequinha Marinho (Podemos), and Chicão Melo (União Brasil) in the 10–16 percent range. This dispersion keeps implied probabilities for second place tightly bunched, as voters select two names and party alliances have yet to consolidate support behind any challenger. Further polling releases, coalition announcements, or campaign momentum in the coming months could shift positioning among the contenders.
