The crowded field of over a dozen registered candidates for Roraima’s single Senate seat in 2026 has kept second-place probabilities tightly clustered, reflecting trader views of a fragmented contest with no dominant challenger yet emerging. Recent party conventions and the August 15 candidacy registration deadline formalized bids from figures including Mario Rocha (PSOL), Teresa Surita (MDB), Chico Rodrigues (PSB), and others, adding volatility without clear polling updates since earlier surveys showed Denarium and Surita ahead. Historical patterns of state-level races with multiple viable contenders, combined with shifting alliances and limited recent survey data, sustain uncertainty around who consolidates opposition support behind any frontrunner. Upcoming campaign events or coalition announcements could quickly separate contenders by clarifying vote consolidation ahead of the October election.
