Perez/Schuurs enter as the higher-seeded pair with strong recent grass-court momentum, having captured the Bad Homburg title days before Wimbledon and advancing comfortably through their opening two rounds on the All England Club lawns. Aoyama/Liang countered with their own grass success, claiming the Libéma Open crown in mid-June and rallying from a set down to reach the Wimbledon third round. Both teams feature experienced doubles specialists comfortable on the surface, with no reported injuries or lineup changes disrupting preparations. The matchup pits consistent serving and net play from the Australian-Dutch duo against the Japanese-Taiwanese pair’s recent title-winning synergy and proven ability to raise their level in Grand Slams. Trader consensus reflects these comparable recent results and seeding edges on a fast grass surface where small execution edges often decide tight contests.
