Abedallah Shelbayh enters as the clear trader favorite against Justin Engel in the Murcia Challenger first round on clay, with market odds reflecting his higher ranking (around No. 220 ATP vs. Engel's sub-500) and stronger clay-court results this season, including a recent quarterfinal in a similar event. Shelbayh's aggressive baseline game suits the surface, where he's won 65% of matches in 2024, while qualifier Engel relies on serve but struggles with consistency, dropping early exits in prior Challengers. No head-to-head exists, but Shelbayh's momentum from Davis Cup duty edges probabilities; watch for fatigue or weather delays as key variables in this best-of-three affair.
