In the ATP Challenger Mexico City on clay, seventh-seeded Luka Pavlovic (No. 200) meets Stefano Napolitano (No. 302) in a pivotal quarterfinal matchup shaped by both players' gritty three-set wins earlier this week—Pavlovic over Aidan Mayo and Facundo Mena, Napolitano topping Tristan Schoolkate and others. Their head-to-head stands at 1-1, with Pavlovic prevailing 7-6, 7-6 here last year and Napolitano winning 6-4, 6-3 in Kigali Challenger last month, underscoring a closely contested rivalry. High altitude favors Pavlovic's powerful serving, but Napolitano's baseline grinding and recent momentum signal upset potential; no injury concerns reported, though endurance in extended rallies will be key.
