Carlos Alcaraz leads trader consensus at 50.5% implied probability as world No. 1 and defending champion on clay, advancing past Sebastian Baez in straight sets during Tuesday's second round amid a depleted field after Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz, and others withdrew pre-tournament. Jannik Sinner follows closely at 40% as No. 2 seed, launching his clay campaign with a clinical win over Ugo Humbert in under 90 minutes, his draw landing in a relatively favorable bottom half potentially avoiding Alcaraz until the final. Alexander Zverev sits third at 5.5% buoyed by strong Monte-Carlo history and round-of-16 progress over Cristian Garin, though his top-half path risks early clashes with Alcaraz; lower probabilities for de Minaur, Ruud, and wildcards like Vacherot reflect tougher matchups and lesser clay-court prowess as round-of-16 action unfolds Thursday.
