Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Trader sentiment for Tokyo’s July 24 maximum temperature centers on ensemble forecasts showing a likely peak near 32–33 °C, driven by persistent subtropical high pressure, clear to partly cloudy skies, and strong urban heat-island amplification in the Kanto plain. Recent model runs from the Japan Meteorological Agency and global ensembles indicate modest day-to-day variability tied to timing of any scattered showers or changes in boundary-layer mixing; lighter winds and higher dew points favor the upper end of the 31–34 °C range while increased cloud cover or sea-breeze effects could cap readings near 31 °C. Historical late-July climatology places average daily maxima around 31–32 °C, providing a baseline against which current model consensus is being weighed by traders.
