In the WTT Contender Tunis 2026 quarterfinals, top seed Flavien Coton (ITTF #26, age 17) holds a slim 50.5% trader consensus edge over veteran Andrej Gacina (#95, age 39), reflecting a tightly balanced matchup driven by both players' gritty paths to this stage. Coton advanced with a 3-1 win over Andrei Putuntica in the round of 32 and a hard-fought 3-2 victory against compatriot Jules Rolland yesterday, capitalizing on his rising form from a strong Asian tour. Gacina countered with a comeback 3-2 triumph over Rogelio Castro and a 3-1 defeat of Robin Walther in the round of 16, drawing on his shakehand attack experience and past WTT Star Contender title. Absent head-to-head history amplifies uncertainty, with late fitness updates or early-game dominance potentially tipping the scales amid similar rest schedules.
