Leong earned his main-draw spot just 24 hours ago, defeating higher-ranked Pavle Marinkov 6-2, 6-3 in qualifying—his fourth such breakthrough this year—showcasing momentum but raising questions about fatigue. Shin, a 29-year-old Korean right-hander, enters directly with steady Challenger form, while no ATP head-to-head exists between the pair. Key factors include surface familiarity for both, absence of injury reports, and Leong's youth versus Shin's tactical maturity, shaping trader consensus on this early-season hard-court clash.
