Bellucci reached the Marrakech Round of 16 last week, defeating wild card Reda Bennani in three sets before falling to Luciano Darderi, building on a strong hard-court start to 2026 with a Cap Cana Challenger final. Lajovic, a clay specialist with career ATP wins on the surface, qualified into Marrakech main draw but exited early, showing solid form post-February head injury recovery amid a 5-6 clay record this year. No head-to-head meetings; stylistic matchup favors Bellucci's lefty angles versus Lajovic's baseline grinding.
