Chen Yu-jen holds an overwhelming lead in the Kinmen County Magistrate race as the Kuomintang nominee, reflecting the party's longstanding dominance in this offshore county and her established record as the local Legislative Yuan representative. Traders price her prospects near 87 percent following her unopposed KMT registration in March 2026 and strong 2024 reelection showing. Li Wen-liang trails at around 11 percent amid limited visibility of other registered contenders. The November 28, 2026, local elections feature a field that has yet to produce major polling shifts or new endorsements in recent weeks, leaving the market consensus anchored in Kinmen's historical voting patterns and Chen's cross-strait advocacy profile.
