Safe Superintelligence Inc. (SSI), founded by Ilya Sutskever in 2024, has yet to release any public model, paper, or demo after more than two years of operation, keeping its secretive “straight-shot” approach to aligned superintelligence in sharp focus for traders. The July 27, 2026, long-term NVIDIA partnership—reportedly including a $5 billion investment and order-of-magnitude compute expansion via Vera Rubin systems—stands as the clearest recent catalyst, signaling substantial resources and internal progress without confirming timelines. External speculation, notably investor Gavin Baker’s comments pointing to a possible August 2026 debut, has fueled short-term sentiment, though SSI’s own channels remain silent. Key swing factors include any official announcement or continued quiet through year-end, amid broader competition from labs shipping frontier large language models.

A qualifying model must be an AI model released by SSI or associated with SSI and confirmed as such by SSI or by a consensus of credible reporting.
For this market to resolve to "Yes," a qualifying model must be launched and publicly accessible, including via open beta or open rolling waitlist signups. A closed beta or any form of private access will not suffice.
The release must be either clearly defined and publicly announced by SSI as being accessible to the general public or otherwise made publicly accessible and explicitly labeled within the company’s official website. Labeling errors, placeholder text, or version names displayed on the website that do not correspond to a model that is actually accessible to the general public will not qualify.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from SSI; however, a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
