Recent polls through late July 2026 show Donald Trump's net approval rating reaching new second-term lows near -20 to -25, with approval around 36 percent and disapproval near 60 percent. The administration's mid-July resumption of military strikes on Iran has driven much of the recent decline, as the conflict ranks among the least popular U.S. military actions in polling history and coincides with higher gas prices. Persistent concerns over inflation and household costs have compounded the downward pressure. These developments have produced consistent weekly drops in aggregated approval measures, aligning with the strong market consensus favoring a further decline this week.
