The 2026-27 Croatian HNL season is just underway, leaving clean sheet projections highly uncertain after the prior campaign's defensive benchmarks. Dinamo Zagreb enters with the strongest recent record, conceding the fewest goals league-wide while posting the highest clean sheet percentage, supported by organized backlines and experienced goalkeepers. Hajduk Split, Rijeka, and Osijek follow closely on historical form, squad continuity, and home/away splits that have produced comparable shutout rates. Mid-table sides like Varaždin and Istra 1961 carry realistic potential through tactical discipline or favorable early fixtures, while bottom-half teams face steeper challenges against attacking depth. This balance of established defensive strengths and preseason unknowns keeps implied probabilities tightly clustered, reflecting trader assessment of evenly matched opportunities across the 10-team field.
