Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Los Angeles point to a typical late-summer pattern of morning low clouds and fog clearing to sunny skies, producing afternoon highs near 76–82 °F on September 3. Onshore southwest flow and the marine layer continue to moderate temperatures along the coast and at LAX, while slightly warmer readings are possible farther inland. These conditions align closely with the historical average high of 76.7 °F for the date and explain why market-implied probabilities concentrate on the 76–79 °F bins. No significant heat-wave signals or model shifts have emerged in the latest runs, keeping trader consensus anchored to this narrow range ahead of final observations.
