Russia's Supreme Court disqualified the Yabloko party from the nationwide party-list ballot for the September 18–20, 2026, State Duma elections on August 10 following a Rodina party challenge, preventing any chance of surpassing the 5% threshold required for proportional seats. Yabloko has not cleared that bar since 1999 and recorded roughly 1% support in the 2021 cycle amid documented constraints on opposition activity, candidate disqualifications, and administrative pressures. Traders price the "No" outcome near certainty because exclusion from the ballot directly triggers market resolution to "No," with only a successful last-minute appeal or procedural reversal offering any realistic path to alter the outcome before election day.
