Darko Jorgic enters this WTT Men's Singles clash at the ITTF World Cup Macao 2026 as the near-unanimous trader favorite at 99.5% implied probability, driven by his ITTF No. 16 ranking and 2055 points vastly outpacing Timothy Choi's No. 120 position and modest 209 points. The 27-year-old Slovenian's shakehand attacking style and pedigree in WTT Champions events—despite recent round-of-32 exit to Nicholas Lum—contrast sharply with the 18-year-old New Zealander's youth and Feeder-level form, marked by straight-sets defeats like 2-3 to Xiangjing Zhang in Spokane II. Absent head-to-head history amplifies the experience gap. While table tennis upsets occur via unforced errors or fatigue, a late withdrawal or extreme underperformance would be required to alter the outcome.
