Rory McIlroy's repeat Masters victory four days ago has propelled him to the top of trader consensus at 26.5% implied probability for the 2026 TOUR Championship, showcasing his peak ball-striking and major momentum on a second-shot layout like East Lake. Xander Schauffele (23%) and Scottie Scheffler (21.5%), fresh off strong Augusta finishes including Scheffler's runner-up, trail closely due to their elite strokes gained totals and consistent FedExCup positioning amid a bunched top five standings led by Cameron Young. The format shift to straight 72-hole stroke play without starting strokes levels the field for the top 30 qualifiers, amplifying volatility from recent surges by Min Woo Lee and rookies like Sudarshan Yellamaraju, keeping the race intensely competitive.
