Hamad Medjedovic rides massive momentum into his ATP Barcelona Open round-of-16 clash with higher-ranked Nuno Borges on outdoor clay, fresh off a stunning upset over third seed Alex de Minaur in straight sets—his biggest career win—following a qualifying run capped by beating Marco Trungelliti. Borges, steady at No. 50, advanced past Adrian Mannarino in the second round after an early Monte Carlo exit to Andrey Rublev, leveraging his experience on the surface where Portugal's lefty holds a stronger career record. With no head-to-head history, traders eye Medjedovic's 22-year-old aggression against Borges' consistency, amid favorable weather and standard best-of-three sets; no injury concerns reported from official updates.
