Invictus Gaming enters the April 18 BO3 matchup third in MPL Malaysia Season 17 regular season standings with a 2-1 match record and 5-3 games, bolstered by a recent three-game victory that showcases their early momentum and roster cohesion as a new entrant from China. AC Esports, conversely, sits near the bottom after a 1-2 defeat to undefeated RRQ Tora four days ago, highlighting struggles in close series and map control amid the current patch's emphasis on aggressive early-game rotations. No major roster changes or player absences reported; trader consensus reflects IG's superior recent form and head-to-head edge in a format where consistency drives playoff positioning, though AC's home crowd and desperation for points could spark an upset in this group stage clash.
